Restaurant – thanks to Laura, Marlana and their crew for a fabulous sold out Turkey Dinner! They braved the heat to have dinner ready for everyone when the heat broke in the early evening.

Penny Social – With GREAT PLEASURE the Penny Social is on the schedule for August 2. The monies will be split between the Memorial Pool Fund and Pool Maintenance. We are looking for normal penny social items along with larger items to raffle off. You can drop off items to Chris Mostyn, Barb Litza, Barb or Dave Zweifel or Marge and Jerry Naegele. We are sooooo looking forward to a GREAT turnout.

Youth - We’ve had an awesome week at program! We had a Scales and Tails presentation and tie-dying on Tuesday, and Olympic week is in full swing!! Thank you to Becky Tuecke for donating all of the tie-dying materials to program- you’re the best!! A huge shoutout goes to Isaac Byrne and Alia Ganatos for winning camper of the week! Also, thank you to EVERYONE that came out for the staff breakfast! The support we get from camp is amazing- we couldn’t do it without everyone!
With these hot temperatures this past week, the pool was the place to be! Thank you to everyone who came out last Friday night, the pool party was a great success! The campers were enjoying the pool as well, and many were able to pass into the next swim group! Congratulations to Declan DeRusha and Delaney Flowers passing from Beginners to Advanced Beginners, Logan Kenty passing from Advanced Beginners to Intermediates, Addie Tuecke passing from Intermediates to Swimmers, and Lorenzo Koehler, Addison DeRusha, and Parker DeRusha passing from Swimmers to Advanced Swimmers! This week's Swimmers of the Week were Hunter Soria for Tiny Tots, Colton Koester for Beginners, Quinn Sandine for Advanced Beginners, Sophie Shannon for Intermediates, and Parker DeRusha for Swimmers! Ladies Auxiliary - Thank you to everyone that donated to the Ladies Card Party and all that supported in attendance. The result was exceptionally successful. The net was $1,800. It was the best ever. Monies will be used for projects as they arise. Thank you again! Ann
Burn Piles – There are three separate burn piles that have accumulated along the river. These piles will be burnt down and grass will be planted. Please bring all yard waste to the burn pit in the big parking lot. Thank you! Curt Litza

Look around camp!!! A BIG SHOUT OUT TO Laura Oronie and Barb Wurster – They are always working behind the scenes to back wash the pool in the evenings when needed to make sure everything is sparkling clean. IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION – PEOPLE ARE DRIVING VERY FAST. PLEASE SLOW DOWN! Now that camp is open everyone will need to unload and move your vehicles to the parking lots. It makes no difference if it is a public road or not it is about the safety of our children, as well as being able to use the road to drive in and out and not having to maneuver around parked cars.
